Ross Bleckner

Ross Bleckner received an undergraduate degree from New York University in 1971 and a Master of Fine Arts from Cal Arts in 1973. The Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum had a major retrospective of his works in 1995, and the work is held in the collections of MoMA and the Whitney Museum of American Art in New York, among many others. For 10 years he served as president of AIDS Community Research Initiative of America (ACRIA), a non-profit community-based AIDS research and treatment education center.
